Vodkasatan: Roadburn Festival 2010 sold out in 30 minutes; Afterburner in about 8 !!!! We’re thrilled to announce that Roadburn Festival 2010 sold out in just 30 minutes. Needless to say, we’re speechless. After last years ticket mayhem, and raising the ticketprice from ? 99 to ? 145 for Roadburn 2010, we didn’t expect this to happen, and certainly not in 30 minutes. The same goes for the Afterburner, which sold out in a mere 8 minutes. Most of the tickets went to our true fans instead of scalpers and touts. We’re really happy about this, as Roadburn is about a gathering of like minded people, and we will all bask in the heaviness of the riff during Roadburn 2010. We’re looking forward to be among our friends. Some people were able to buy tickets throughout Saturday and Sunday after Roadburn 2010 sold out. What happend? Over the course of the weekend, while Ticketmaster was processing all the orders, a total of about 50 tickets kept bouncing back and forth between on hold and available: one moment they were on hold, then the transaction failed and the ticket got released again. Luckily some of you benefited from this anomaly after the festival officially sold out. Please note: in previous years we have been forced to confiscate tickets that were purchased from an unauthorized sales point. There are dozens of ticket broker sites that are more than happy to offer tickets at inflated prices, and in many cases they are not even authentic Roadburn tickets. We sincerely regret that we cannot admit you to the festival if you are in possession of what proves to be a counterfeit ticket. Do yourself a favour and don’t purchase your tickets from those who offer their greed as a service.

Vodkasatan: Magnus Pelander We are very pleased to announce that Witchcraft vocalist Magnus Pelander will be part of the Roadburn festival lineup on Thursday, 15 April 2010. Magnus will perform some very personal songs on acoustic guitar that will be recorded sometime next year for a full-length record. According to Magnus, “the record will include a lot of different instrumentation but the whole idea is that the songs can be perfomed solo as well as with 4 or even more people.” http://www.myspace.com/magnuspelander

How does this work? Please put your top 10 of Roadburn-related albums here: http://www.roadburn.com/2009/12/we-want-your-top-10-albums-of-the-decade/, and we’ll do the math just before Christmas. Your last chance to send in your lists will be Thursday, December 24th, and we’ll announce the definite list between Christmas and New Year’s Day. Some rules will apply for the lists: - The albums have to be released between January 1st 2000 and December 31st 2009 - A band can only appear once in your list - Rate the albums from 1 to 10, in descending order (we will give the number one 10 points and number ten 1 points) - “Roadburn-related” is broad but not without boundaries. So we’ll accept My Mourning Jacket but will delete MGMT. - Singles and EP’s will not be accepted - If you feel like adding a line or two about the albums feel free: but please stay clear of phrases like “Best album ever!!!!” We get that as it is in your list. - And as a bonus you can post the best gig of the decade. ORION WARNING: Nazi Driver это Peder Bergstrand - бас/вокал It all started 3 years ago: "My old band Lowrider faded out into nonexistence, but I kept on writing music, without any definite end purpose or goal - the only thing I know was that I wanted to do something different." says Peder Bergstrand, I ARE DROID's guitarist, singer and song writer. A late winter's night after a show in the outskirts of Stockholm, Peder ran into an old childhood friend, drummer Fredrik Bergström. "We hadn't seen each other in ages, like 6 years or something. But after a minute we were right back where we left off. It was just one of those things, you know?" smiles Peder. Pretty soon the two realized they should be making music together. There was only a tiny catch: Fredrik was moving to Tokyo. - We started sending ideas for songs back and forth from Stockholm to Tokyo. It was like that type of juvenile, naive teenage thing like when you where a kid and you met a girl on your vacation. It's like "We're gonna make it, I'll write you every day! I'll come visit you in six months!" laughs Peder. Except this time it actually happened. Peder went to Tokyo and the two-piece started rehearsing. And when Razzia Records heard what they were up to and wanted to sign the unit, Fredrik decided to move back to Stockholm so they could pursue I ARE DROID full on. When Konie Ehrencrona (Konie, Don't Be A Stranger) joined on guitars and vintage synthesizers and bassist Jens Lagergren (Thunder Express, Hello Saferide) became member no 4, I ARE DROID was complete. он описывает создание группы

mikey: какой то большое афтербернер получается... по сколько там каждый там играть то будет?... по три-четыре песни чтоли...обычно такого же наплыва не было....

mikey: ясно...но все равно бред какой то - опять разделения какие то... теперь на залы... но все равно как я понимаю - все пацанские команды собмещают роберн с евопейскими своими турами и датами ибо иначе ехать накладно...
Vodkasatan: ну заокеанские банды да, как правило. кроме реюнионов, хотя, в прошлом году Сэйнт Вайтас изначално планировалось, как одноразовый "роадберн спешл" реюнион, а они потом взяли и в германии концерты забабахали и на Хеллфесте отыграли. в прошлом году у нас групп 5 играло на неделе перед роабурном, которые потом на роадберне были.

Vodkasatan: ну вот у нас, пока что, из тех, кто будет на Роадберне, будут: Shrinebuilder, Altar of Plagues, Yakuza еще планируется заехать в Дрезден на Brant Bjork & The Bros(вместе с My Sleeping Karma) и на Black Math Horseman; в Вену на Eyehategod, Soilnet Green, Sourvein, чтоб хоть немного разгрузить себе сам Роадберн
